The arrival of Frozen Trail on October 8 introduces a new progression structure to ARC Raiders. Raider Decks are being retired and replaced by a 60-level Reward Pass, changing how players work toward seasonal rewards. Instead of using accumulated Cred to quickly clear new decks, players now build progression primarily by completing Feats during their deployments.
For anyone balancing several goals at once, this makes efficient planning more useful than ever. The same raid can involve looting, combat, exploration, and progress toward ARC Raiders BluePrints, so there is little reason to treat the Reward Pass as a completely separate activity. A few smart choices before deploying can help turn normal gameplay into steady seasonal progress.
Choose Objectives That Naturally Overlap
The easiest way to waste time is to chase a Feat that has nothing to do with the rest of your raid.
Before dropping into a zone, look at the available objectives and ask whether two or more can be completed during the same route. A weapon elimination objective might pair naturally with a regional looting requirement. If the area already has useful resources, you can work toward both without making a special trip.
This is much more comfortable than changing your entire loadout or route for every individual challenge.
It also gives you flexibility. If one objective becomes too risky, you can abandon that part of the plan while continuing with the others. Your deployment can still be productive instead of becoming an all-or-nothing attempt.
Protect the Value of a Successful Run
There is a temptation with seasonal challenges to keep pushing once an objective is almost finished.
That can be dangerous in an extraction game.
If you already have valuable loot and have made good progress, consider whether the final step of a Feat is worth the extra exposure. A risky detour can send you into an unfavorable fight or pull you away from an otherwise reliable extraction route.
I would rather leave a Feat partially complete and bring home a successful raid than lose everything because I refused to stop chasing a challenge.
This does not mean avoiding difficult objectives altogether. It means choosing the right moment to take the risk.
Make Short Sessions Count
The Reward Pass is particularly relevant for players who do not have long gaming sessions.
When time is limited, efficiency comes from reducing unnecessary travel and avoiding objectives that require you to completely change your normal playstyle. A well-planned 30- or 60-minute session can still produce useful progress when several activities overlap.
You also do not need to finish a Feat every time you play. Partial progress is still useful, especially when the same actions can contribute to another objective during the next deployment.
Thinking about progression in terms of repeated small gains makes the 60-level structure feel much less intimidating.
Refresh Your Feat Rotation
Completed Feats should not remain in your active selection longer than necessary.
After finishing an objective, replace it when possible so that your next activities can contribute toward something new. This is an easy step to overlook, particularly when you are focused on extracting safely after a difficult run.
Over many deployments, however, constantly keeping useful challenges active can make your overall progression more efficient.
The system rewards players who keep moving forward rather than simply finishing one objective and forgetting about the rest of their available progression.
Use Squads Where They Actually Help
Not every Feat requires teammates, but some become much easier with a coordinated squad.
Difficult combat challenges can be particularly frustrating when attempted alone. Having teammates nearby means you can cover different angles, assist during dangerous encounters, and reduce the chance of losing an entire session to one unexpected situation.
The group can also agree on objectives before deploying. If several players have challenges that involve the same area or type of activity, everyone can contribute without constantly splitting away from the squad.
For straightforward objectives, solo play may still be faster. The important thing is matching the approach to the challenge rather than automatically choosing one style.
Understand the Free and Premium Tracks
The new Reward Pass has been structured so that gameplay-focused players can access essential rewards through the Free Track.
The Free Track costs 0 Tokens and includes weapons, gadgets, five base outfits, and up to 200 Raider Tokens. The Premium Track costs 1,150 Tokens and is focused on cosmetic customization rather than gameplay advantages. Its rewards include weapon stencils, hairstyles, outfit modifications, and up to 1,150 Raider Tokens returned upon completion.
Returning players also have access to the free Legacy Pass, which gathers previous Raider Deck cosmetic rewards into a historical progression track. This lets players clean up older cosmetics at their own pace.
Keep the Long Game in Mind
The most practical way to approach the new system is to make every deployment reasonably productive rather than trying to force maximum progression from every single run. If your broader collection goals eventually include ARC Raiders Items, steady and successful raids are more useful than repeatedly gambling valuable deployments for small amounts of progress.
The Reward Pass gives players 60 levels to work through, so there is little need to rush blindly. Stack compatible Feats, stay close to sensible raid routes, refresh completed challenges, and use squad coordination when a combat objective becomes difficult. That approach keeps progression moving while allowing the game to remain what it is supposed to be: a series of raids where good decisions matter more than simply checking boxes.
